The "Grande Réserve" Vintage
WHITE 2006

Grape varieties
: Rolle, Sémillon.

Vinification: Parcel selection. Maceration with the skin in the press for 3 to 4 hours, then pneumatic pressing with selection of the first juices. Fermentation and maturing in oak barrels until bottling.

Tasting: attractive shiny gold robe. An expressive smoked nose, liquorice then ripe pear and mango. In the mouth, it is initially gentle, then full with good aromatic length. A wine for the cellar, for 3 to 5 years, showing good balance with its barrel maturation.

 
ROSE 2006

Grape varieties: Grenache, Cinsault.

Vinification: Parcel selection. Fresh harvest at dawn. Maceration for a few hours in the press then gentle pneumatic pressing with selection of the best juices. Low temperature fermentation between 15 and 16°C. Matured on the lees until bottling.

Tasting: Attractive pale, salmon-coloured robe. An elegant nose of white flowers and banana-apricot. The mouth is fine and round, finishing with violet. A delightful rosé to be served young.

RED 2004

Grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache, Cabemet Sauvignon.

Vinification: Old vine selection. Total de-stemming and crushing. Concentration through bleeding. Long maceration (3 weeks) and fermentation at 28-30°C with daily pump-over. Matured in French oak casks for 12 months.


Tasting
: Shiny garnet with a few slate reflections. Complex nose, spicy, ripe fruit, cherries, prunes and plums. The mouth is rich , balanced with well-matured tannins present. The end is very smooth, blended with a roasted aroma of leather and cherry pips. A wine for the cellar, for 4 to 7 years.
